Dec 30 parking and Pirates & Pals

We are doing the Pirates & Pals Fireworks cruise on December 30. I was originally planning for 7:30 fireworks, but it currently looks like fireworks will be at 9:00. If that holds true, we will take a mid-day break. I'm trying to figure the best plan for that. We will have our own car and drive to MK in the AM, but I'm trying to decide what we should do when we come back. Do you think there will be parking available at the Contemporary when we come back for the event? Check-in is at 7:45. I don't like using the buses, but I'm afraid there won't be any parking and would hate to get to the Contemporary and have no where to park.

Also, if there is no parking...do they always have valet parking?
Would prefer not to pay that added cost, but if it guaranteed us a plan, I would be okay with putting that down as plan B if the regular lot was full.

Sorry, but nothing is guaranteed about parking at that time of year.

TTC may be full, the MK area resorts lots and valet may be full.

I can say that it is quite POSSIBLE that you'd be able to valet at CR, but I'd arrive MUCH earlier than
you normally would, just in case you'd have to go with "Plan B."

If you drive to MK that morning (and can park at TTC... that lot can FILL very early in the morning, so be aware) would absolutely leave my car at TTC if you do leave MK mid-day and take the buses to/from wherever you decide to go for your break.

That way, you car will be in the MK area when you return from the cruise.

You can certainly try for CR valet.

Thanks. I think we will probably do that. We plan on being at the park well before it opens...hoping for a 7:00 am opening so I think we should be okay parking in the AM. We will leave the car there and take the bus back to the resort. I looked at your maps for the walk from the bus drop off to the Contemporary...it doesn't look far, but it is hard to estimate the walk time. Do you happen to know about how long it takes?

@Robo If we are supposed to check-in at the Contemporary at 7:30 for the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise, should we be at the AoA bus stop at 6:15?
