Dec. 28 eastern Magic cruise

hi, we are starting to get excited about our first winter cruise on the magic over new years. anyone else going on this magic cruise leaving 12/28? I wonder what special celebrations they might have either or new year's eve (st. maarten) or on new year's day (st. thomas). i wonder if the shops will be open in st. thomas or st. john on new year's day. let me know if you are cruising with us! It is myself, my DH and DS (age 14). barb
