This will be my wifes first trip to DLR, (we go to WDW regularly), amd my boys forst trip to anything disney!!! based on what I have read we are skipping new years eve at the park, but was wondering many things...
we own DVC and are use to the way they pamper us, for this trip I have the room booked but we dont even know what room we have (king or 2 queens)...
anyway, can someone answer these questions for me...

1. do they allow you to take part in the morning maddness and toontown events if you stay on site (we are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, standard view)?

2. can you view the fireworks from the hotel grounds?

3. Fantasmic is my wifes favorite, but WDW has a special area for it, where is the best seating for viewing fantasmic in the park?

may have more later, Thanks

Hi, Meduck, welcome!

MTTMM tickets are only available through a package vacation purchased through Disney, AAA or Costco. Staying onsite does get you Magic Morning (early entry) priveleges during your stay. MMs are Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Fireworks are visible from some rooms at DLH, mostly the DTD or park view rooms. I don't think you can be guaranteed a view with the standard view. However, you could call a couple of weeks beforehand and request a free upgrade. No guarantee you'll get it, but they will note that you asked and will try to accomodate if possible.

F! tends to get very packed at DL; it takes place on Rivers of America on Tom Sawyer/Pirate's Lair island, so the waterfront across from there is always packed. People start to stake out spots hours ahead of time. You can also pay $59 a head (adults, kids are $49) for F! reserved seating; which gets you a chair in a roped off area, beverages and a dessert box. There is a thread here which describes the experience, and offers a lot of opinions on whether or not it's worth it. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1815941&page=4 Go back to the beginning of the thread and read for more info.

Hope that helps! :goodvibes
