Dec. 26 Express Pass or not?

Hello I will admit I know more about Disney than Universal. But, alas, God has blessed me with 4 boys instead of princesses. So, they want to meet Spiderman and the grinch. So this December after WDW we were thinking of spending a few days at Universal. We bought the 7 day ticket deal. And I have the dates figured out and now I'm like . So we will be spending the full day Dec. 26 at USO/UIOA. The next 3 mornings we were going in just for a few hours leave by noon to hang out at the timeshare with extended family (grandparents, sister and her bf, older sister and her family). So since we only have 1 full day and a few mornings I am wondering if we should get the EP for our full day. How crowded is it the week after Christmas? Especially Dec. 26? Should I get the 1 day/2 park EP for this day. It is $30.99/per person. So about $184 total. Is it worth it? And if we wait until we get down there will they have raised the price? I noticed the day after is $50.99 which would be way too much for our family of 6. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

This would be a wait and see deal. Since the EP's are still cheap, the crowds shouldn't be too bad but the easiest thing would be to see how the crowds are and purchase an EP if needed.

So than do the prices stay the same or do they raise them later for an EP?

I think they have set prices depending upon the expected crowd level for that day. I don't think they raise them later.
