Dec 21-27 Question

Not quite new to the board.....I was here........gone for a while..........and now I'm back
Anyway, even though my family LOVES Disney and we visit a lot we have never been during any of the Xmas celebrations.I am thinking of going in December this year during a portion of the crazy rush but, I am hoping to avoid most of it.
We would be leaving Thursday the 21st (evening) and returning December 27th.
What are the opinions out there on how the crowds will be???

ENORMOUS. Biggest crowds of the year.

I would not go during this time if admission was free.
