I just used these codes & got an intermediate through Budget for $330.77 that is almost 1/2 what I found best with Alamo. But I'll take it for now in hopes of it going down. We have never used Budget in Orlando before. Can anybody tell me how they are?

I just plugged your dates into Thrifty using the Magic Card code 004M001010 found here: http://www.visitorlando.com/discoun...-discount-card/?couponfilter=11&couponSortBy= and got $304 including taxes from MCO.

I've tried every code I could find for Alamo and the best I can get for 12/2 to 12/10, full size, is $112.61, which I think is great! This is picking up and returning to MCO. I would rather have a minivan, but the prices are outrageous. I will keep checking on those.

The codes I used are Costco ID 7015309 (15% off) and AD2359FDF ($35 off).

Thanks, Dan. I tried that, but I got $140.00. I can't believe the price difference between picking up at MCO and at the Disney Car Care Center or the Dolphin. I wanted to try ME this time, but I can't justify the difference in car rental prices. I guess we will get to our resort sooner after we land and get to stay a little longer on our last day by picking up and returning our car to MCO.

I got my rental down a little more to $82.15 total for a compact with Alamo for 5 days. I used codes off Visa's website - Contract ID 7015504 and Coupon Code AD2338FDF which gave me 20% off and $30 off.

BTW, I think you can use AD2359FDF and get $35 off instead of $30.

Thanks. I tried it, and it did give me $35 off instead of $30, but it cancelled out the 20% off code. So what I have is about 9 bucks cheaper than the codes you shared. Thanks though!

So glad that the rates are starting to drop for at least some of you . Ours, unfortunately, seems to be holding firm.

For those that are more car rental savvy than I (which would be anyone who's rented a vehicle more than once in their life ) do you think we are destined to pay a high rate simply because our rental will begin on NYE day? I noticed most of the coupons out there seem to end on December 15th. Or maybe I'm just being impatient and the best is yet to come? I have been known to be a little anxious from time to time, lol .... ask my husband....

I want Andrea in PA's "under $100" rate!!!! (I have rental rate envy, what can I say? ha ha )

I mean this in the nicest way ... those of us going at the end of the month are TOTALLY green-eyed jealous of those going at the beginning of the month . Not only do you get low park crowds , but you also get great car rates . We get wall-to-wall crowds and hideously expensive car rates . Curse you school calendars !
