Love the smiley, it fits me.
Yes, I am at 39 days now. or 9 days away from one month. either way it's close.

During this whole trip planning process I have given my friend theresa 2 jobs, first job is to find us transportation to the airport. Originally Kent was going to drive us, but since we upped our departure time Kent is no longer able to accomodate us, which really to me seemed like a huge problem, (one of my main jobs is to worry and sweat over all the details:coffee: , and i am doing a great job I must add) We really needed his big ole truck, I am an over packer and I have taught Reese the art of overpacking as well:teacher: . I have even encouraged Coley to over pack. So now we need to find somebody with a big enough vehicle to get us to Baltimore. All of my friends have little cars:moped: , or if they do have big cars, they work and can't take the time off. So knowing Theresa has many contacts, I put her in charge of hiring a friend with a mini van. I have called her every few days to check on her progress and she has told me she was working on it. Well yesterday she calls me and tells me she has great news, her friends sister lives 5 minutes from the airport and can drive us, we just need to get to her house, :woohoo: ummm wait a second:confused: how do we get to her house?:confused3 we still need a large vehicle, we are still at step one, getting a large vehicle, c'mon here lady. She then tells me we will take her car, her little black saturn, the 2 door Saturn, the one that sits so low my knees are in my armpits, the one that sometimes at redlights i am tempted to get out and wind it up some more.
"oh, you're joking:lmao: , you almost had me there."
She tells me she is serious, we will do a dry run first and make sure it will work. :sad2: I can already see it, somebody is going to have to ride on the roof. I am supposed to give her credit for this on my trip report, but i think I will wait and see if the dry run works, if it does, she will get full credit for her contribution, until then I will not be holding my breath, I could die if i did that, DUH!

:lmao: That would never work in my family. We have lots of luggage. No little cars for us. Have fun squeezing everything into the Saturn.:rotfl2:

I wonder how much it would be to rent a minivan to drive from PA to BWI? :surfweb: I know when we were searching for a rental from my MIL when she visited Hertz had a special for like $39.00 and you'll only need it for that one day....and one day back of course, but, it's just a thought? :confused3

Renting a mini van is a great idea, I wanted to do that but Theresa doesn't want to spend any money on transportation, I agree the less we spend on transportation the more I have for at disney, so If I have to sit scrunched in a ball for 40 minutes, so be it.

The Disney Diet.

I have fallen off the diet wagon and I am running to catch up, well more like skipping fast. I was talking to theresa about it today and told her my goal was to lose 10 more pounds by departure. So that means I have until 2:20pm on dec 4th to meet my goal, I am not too worried, once I start both my coaching jobs the weight will fall off. (I am hoping) Theresa on the other hand has hired people to help her get fit and healthy, she goes to the gym daily and has meal plan set for her, no where in this meal plan is chocolate included, don't they know if you go without chocolate for too long a woman will go insanely mad?! Theresa said she is sure everybody sneaks a little now and then and she plans to do the same. But she is not on a diet, to say diet means once you hit your goal you can give up grazing on garbonzo beans and get back to the fully loaded taco. No, Theresa has made a life style change, and it is working for her, she looks great and i am so proud of her, and I have made the promise to myself that i will not sabotage her healthy choices while at disney. That means I will be eating bad all by myself. I have been dreaming of all the scrumptous food on the dining plan, I go to the menus alot and actually order in my mind what I will have at Disney. I am dieting in order to allow room for all the cheese cake I plan to consume. But seriously guys, when you are being bad isn't it more fun if someone is being bad with you? I won't tempt Theresa, I am a good friend, but that guilt I will feel when she is slurping grass juice through a carrot straw and I am salavating over my chocolate wave is going to be the end of me. She also plans to work out while in disney, great, now I will feel compelled to do the same. This is my vacation, I am to eat bad and not excercise, besides I will be walking my crocs off every day at the parks, and possibly running at times, most likely running towards food, but that is beside the point. She asked me to e-mail her menus of all the places we will be eating at so she can take it to her nutrionist and they can come up with an ordering game plan. Am I jealous of her will power? Not really, I can have that same will power. I just wanted a fancy free vacation no holds (or desserts) barred. I didn't want to question the calories, or double think extra whip cream. So I have set up a new goal for myself. I will eat what I want but not go overboard, basically I will not pay extra for food, I will only partake of what the dining plan offers, which is a heck of a lot, I will NOT gain weight, as Mickey as my witness the only extra baggage I will bring home will be in my suitcase, not my thighs. SO here is my plan.

Mornings I will jog in place while brushing my hair and teeth, this will negate the calories that will be in my bagel and cream cheese. I will then brisk walk to the bus stop still working off calories.
When sitting on the bus I will do butt crunches, if I do these every bus ride I will have a tone tushy by the end of the week.
when going onto a ride I will do walking lunges the last fifty feet.
While on the ride I will do some stretching by throwing my arms up in the air and enjoying the ride, even on it's a small world, this elongates the frame thus making you look thinner .
When getting off the ride another set of walking lunges the first fifity feet.

Next comes my cardio vascular workout...or shopping, it gets the heart rate going so really it's one in the same.

If I fidget through every meal I will be burning calories as I eat.
I plan to laugh a lot, that is great for the abs.
These are just a few of my exercises, I can't give away all my secrets, not yet.
This is a fool proof plan, I might even market my idea. Disney will probably want to buy the rights to it, and for the right price, I would be willing to sell.

 I love all your Disney exercises!

I too am on a Disney diet, the Disney cruise diet! I have 13 months to make my goal weight of 130. I have such bad willpower when it comes to food though, I love me some pizza!

Seriously though, good for you and Theresa for staying healthy.

I do not think it is a bad thing if you let yourself indulge in the food and desserts that you want while in Disney, you are on vacation! Not to mention you will burn everything off during the day anyways.;)

Awwww Ty, you are a great friend. I wouldn't worry about what you eat though. All the walking you are going to do will totally counter what you eat. And you are right, this is YOUR vacation too. Ask yourself if you will regret when you are back home, not trying the things you wanted to try. I know I picked the restaurants because of the menus. There were obviously things you wanted to try.

I'ts only a week. You won't hurt what you've accomplished and I'm sure you won't make her feel bad. It's her life decision.

Oh wow, that was heavy eh??

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Ty I know it's way late, but congrats on the coaching jobs!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Plus I was in the stores and they were setting up all the Christmas stuff and it reminded me of your pre-TR. Then, I got home and found this in the mailbox and thought you'd like to see to get you even more excited about Christmastime in Disney (I dunno if you've seen it yet here on the DIS, but just in case....):
