Now that is just too cool.

I want to be computer literate so bad, but I still use a WebTV internet device at home without windows and without a mouse.

I just use the remote keyboard and back button or up/down arrows.

I am very good at copy and paste, because I have a "Find button" to locate tha cursur next to a specific sentenc or word to copy and paste.

But I digress.

I hope that you get to Atlanta some time.

Actually, I hope that all of you get to Atlanta sometime.

I not very knowledgeable about local hotels.

But you could spend a family day at downtown Atlanta.

In one small area is the Atlanta Aquarium and new Coke Building and Olympic Park and CNN Tour and Atlanta Hawks basketball and Atlanta Falcons football stadium.

And not to far away by bus is the Atlanta Braves stadium which is very family friendly with reasonable prices.

Six Flags is O.K., but I am spoiled by Disney and haven't been there in decades.

Stone Mountain Park outside of Atlanta is pretty family friendly with a lot to do, too.

I hope you get the reservation for brunch. We were actually sitting behind Tom and Anne Marie on our last cruise. I'm sure they'll be polite and NOT tell you how many trips we made to the various stations!!!!!

I won't tell as long as you don't tell how many trips we made. I think they had to roll us out of there.

I think we are going to try to book brunch and maybe dinner. I would like to go to dinner just for the chocolate souffle. I think that was one of the best desserts I have ever had.

If you are not able to make reservations then try to get to the port early and as soon as you board go directly to where ever they are taking reservations. There are many times left so don't worry. We have done this on both of our cruises with no problem.

I just booked this cuise a few days ago, and looking forwards to getting my DCL fix and meeting fellow cruisers.

This will be our second and our third is booked for Halloween 08. I'm looking in to staying at the All Star Movie. I can wait.
What are you planning for Nassau? I have read on disboards that people have rented a room to gain access Atlantis beach then go back to the room to shower before heading back to the ship.

What meal sitting are you all on? I can't remember asking DU when booking but we are on first. I am not sure whether to try and change it or not. I think there are fors and againsts. For the Panama Canal cruise next year we could only get 2nd and there is a big waitlist for first. I think that will be too late with a slow meal, and this may be too early!!

Hey Marilyn, we have the 2nd rotation. This is the way I prefer it. It gives me all day to eat and then hopefully I will be ready to eat my HUGE dinner by then.

There's a private room that holds about 12-14people, once a list is put together with the name and cabin, it can be faxed to DCL. 30 days before sailing Disney will determine who gets the room, and I beleive its based on date fax is received. So the sooner the better. You still will want book your Palo ressi on-line ,that way if the group gets the room you can alway cancel.

If no one has done this I would be happy to put a list together and fax.

We REALLY like second sitting so we make sure we always get that. It did get a bit rushed for the pirate party, but we dealt with it! I think those families with children really do appreciate the early seating so we're glad to give it up for them!

Each sitting has 3 separate times, depending on your rotation. IIRC the second seating starts at 8:00, 8:15, and last is 8:30 (just verified that with one of our old Navigators!). The first seating is 5:30, 5:45, and 6:00.

Yes, I did the reg but thought I'd sneak Marc in there a bit later!

We've had both the 8:00 and :15. Loved 'em both, but 8:00 was a bit better! A bit more leisurely if you wanted to catch something after dinner.
