Thanks for the awesome Welcome.. Can't wait traveling with the hole :grouphug:family. I noticed that Disney does not offer any shore excursions in Orlando - Our flights home are later in the day and other then the space center - any recomendations:teacher:

Part of my travel party's flight isn't departing until 8:30pm. They are coming back to WDW with us to take in some last minute holiday cheer, Disney style. They are renting a car to drive from the port to WDW to MCO. Its far less expensive than transfers and a town car/Mears.

Downtown Disney is festive and offers some entertainment, shopping, and food if you are hungry.

Gatorland is in Kissimmee and is surprisingly close to Disney.

There are a million and six different things to do on International Drive. Things like Ripley's Believe It or Not, WonderWorks, Titanic Experience, etc.

Old Town is on 192. Kinda cheesy. Old West themed old style attractions. But being from out west, I don't suppose that holds any interest to you.

SeaWorld can be a good place to go to, especially if it isn't crowded. I think it is a multiday experience, but I feel the same way about Disney's Animal Kingdom and most people finish it in half a day.

Thanks again for you help and also all the great suggestions - This thread has been the most usful tool in my years of travel. So many questions have been answered - Thanks again to all that have posted:)
Cheers to a great cruise and awesome weather:rockband:

Not counting my cabin I think I counted 22 adults (13 females,9 males) and 17 children (10 girls, 7 boys) for a total of 39. Does this sound about right?

Total count I have including all rooms I get

13 cabins
22 adults, not sure of what's M/F of the adults
19 kids, 11 girls 8 boys

hope I have it right.. LOL

:yay:

OMG I leave in 22 days! I'm not close to being ready. I still have to make it through Thanksgiving this week and a big cheer competition in 2 weeks. YIKES!!! How's planning going for everyone else?

We are pretty much set. Packing lists ready, pre and post park touring plans and ADRs set. Onboard itineraries roughed out.

Then this weekend happened. We may be a little spontaneous--its a four day weekend. We have AP's burning holes in our pockets. Leaving after viddles on Turkey day to visit the mouse a little early is a strong possibility right now.....

I'm jealous! Take me with you :rotfl:

So I have pulled out everything I plan to pack and listed all shoes needed. Got pirate outfit out too. pirate:

Not ready at all and won't be until the weekend before. Just the way it works at my house. ;)

Honestly I am going to start packing clothes in the next few days as far as our summer stuff, pirate stuff pirate:, as well as our Disney stuff for the 2 days:worship::cool1: after the Cruise. The Disney MVMCP :santa: and Hollywood Studios:woohoo: day are a surprise for the kids they don't know yet. I am going crazy keeping it a secret haha.:rotfl2: 23 more days and I will be in my Happy Place!:worship::cool1: How many pants, sweatshirts, and winterish stuff is everyone bringing?

I'm the same way! I'll be lucky if I'm packed the weekend before, normally I start packing the night before. I just got my cruise docs. today and I finished making my fish extender, but that's all. I still have to get everything to go into it. The next three weeks are going to be crazy for me and on top of everything else we just had a death in our family, so nothing is going to slow down. I hope these next 23 days fly by because I am so ready to be on the ship! :cool1:

22 days 8 hours... I have downloaded shipmates on my phone just to have a countdown...lol

Morning All!

Last year I took 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of yoga pants and a light jacket. Probably will do the same this year. Hoping for better weather though as Nassau was a bit breezy last year. We will have 1 bag and 3 carryons (one with Mace's beer..:goodvibes). We take the train though so don't have to really worry about luggage costs as long as we don't go over 2 per person.

I still have to determine what I want to do for the FE. I keep changing my mind. :rotfl:

well only 18 more days for us, it is driving me crazy.. and packing is a nightmare here, my boys are competitive swimmers and they have to go away to a competition next week, and my older one has another one the weekend after in Portland, an that one really through a wrench into the plans cause his flight home from Portland was after we leave home, so half a million phone calls between the airlines and the swim team we got his flight home changed to meet up with us, but now he will have all his swimming gear and not much for clothes with him, so now there are only 3 of us to get all the rest of the luggage there hope it won't cost us for extra baggage.. maybe just have to buy stuff there and pack less..

see you all soon.
