So excited here!! Booked our first cruise. We will be in WDW for 8 days prior to the cruise and on day 8 my dh and dc will think we are headed for the airport to go home, but NOPE! Port Canaveral instead. Yup, it is a surprise for them and I just had to post here, meet others who will be cruising the same dates etc so I can get help keeping this surprise for an entire year!!!
Looking forward to the adventure.

Bump... (at this rate, I will soon get enough posts to be able to post the link in the 2012 Dream section!) :yay:

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :cool1:

Have a great cruise!

We'll be there too! This is the first leg of our B2B! Just Me dh and dd's 1 & 11 on this leg, being joined by the inlaws on the 19th! Can't wait!

This will be our second Disney Cruise !!!! Can't wait to sail away with Mickey and the Gang again !!!! Hoping to participate in FE again too ..... my kids LOVED coming back to the room to find a little treat ..... This time travelling is my DH, DD(adult), DD(age 11) and DGD(age 2)
Also this will be our first BTB .... :woohoo:

I've never done a B2B before and this will be our first .... how does it work for when we get off the ship on the 16th ???? and how do we get back on ???? Do we have to go through customs ???? Do we get access to our room right away when we get back on ????

B2B, what fun. I considered it, but I think I need to keep the first one short in case we have trouble getting our sea legs!!
Our group will consist of myself, DH, DD 9 and DS 9. So happy to see others going... LOL It is very hard to keep this secret.
I too would love to do the FE. I have done some reading and it sounds like so much fun.

Our first Disney Cruise was the 3night because I wasn't sure how my dd would do on a ship, 3 days later we practically had to drag her off! This is our first b2b but I am told you just walk off with no luggage and sit in the lounge at port for about an hour then they let you back on. I do believe you have to go thru customs, but not with your luggage. We have the same room for both, so we can just leave our stuff in the room!

How do we set up a FE list? Do we want to share a google doc, or is there a 'standard' way?

Anyone looking at shore excursions yet? I think we are going to get a cabana on CC, I'm pretty excited about all the new options since our last visit!

I am still new to all this cruzin stuff..... our first cruise was October 2011 and we LOVED it ..... on that cruise I just posted here and someone added my name to a list then prior to the departure she emailed us with room numbers and ages ..... it was great ..... so much fun ....
The only excursion that I would like to do is go over to Atlantis and spend the day ..... and I found a more reasonable way to do this ...... The Comfort Suites beside Atlantis is actually owned by Atlantis and if you book a room you get full access to the Atlantis resort ..... back in October the room was around 300.00 ...... so all 5 of us were able to enjoy Atlantis at a much more reduced rate ..... also it was nice to have a room with a fridge for us to bring water and food and a place to rest with a bed and AC ..... The taxi from the port to Atlantis was about 50.00 return .....

But what a secret it is !!!!!!!!! Such fun ...... at least you can share here and hopefully you won't spill the beans!!!!

We did the same thing ..... just a short cruise back in October to see how we would do..... we all did fairly well..... my adult daughter was the one that wasn't enjoying herself ..... we should have brought a lot more gravol ..... she told us she would never cruise again.... but then she saw Cake Boss the other night and it stirred up the joy of doing a Disney Cruise..... so she is going to get those bracelet things and go to Costco and get an industrial size box of Gravol ....

We are also doing Atlantis thru Comfort Suites, We have done this several times on Disney cruises, and the discount can't be beat! We 'discovered' Atlantis on our first Disney cruise about 5 years ago and the whole family fell in love! We now go stay about a week or so there every year, so we are familiar with the property and all feel as safe and at home as we do in Disney. :)

Oh, booked our CS room yesterday, got it for $250 :)

:wave2: DH and I will be on this cruise. We cruise without the kiddies every Dec. :goodvibes Currently we are cruising with 8 other couples and NO kids! :cool1: Only 2 others that are in the party are DISers but I will still tell them to stop by and chat.

My mom just booked our cruise today - it's my parents 45th anniversary trip and all four of her kids and our families are going too (plus her best friend)! There will be 17 of us in the group...none of us have cruised on Disney before. We are going to WDW for 5 days before the cruise also- soooo excited!!
