Last year Lexi had pneumonia and was in the hospital. SHe never gets sick, so when she did, she did it big! Anyway, she was in for a few days and was not happy about it! There was a doctor that kept getting paged named Dr. Holla. LOL We were able to keep her laughing with saying Holla!!! every time they paged him! And, there was also a Dr. Wang. Not Wong...Wang. That was fun, too! So, no my dear...I would never make fun of you. You are in too tight with the Mouse...I want to stay on your good side!

Long story short - the doctor that treated me was Dr. Lincoln. He said we only needed to worry if I poo'd out change for a quarter... but get it, Lincoln, and I swallowed Washington?

Reese is doing so good, she even went to school today, Jim doesn't seem to be too bad, he went to school but then came home and went straight to bed, he didn't even want to get in some driving hours.

Hey!!! I'm glad that Reese is feeling better, Greg was sick last week too! It has been very cold here as well. This week it should go back to normal October temps!!

I hope everything goes well at thew doctor. Keep us posted, I am sure you are super anxious to get back to work. Will you be able to drive yourself?

We had record temps for how cold it was fo rthis time of year, but today it got up to 56, funky weather is all I can say. Reese was scared she had swine flu, when she went to the Dr. they made her wear a mask in the waitin groom, poor kid, I told her it wasn't to embarass her but to protect the elderly, the little babies, and the expectant mothers.

I can drive now, and I will post about that as well as my Dr. visit soon.

I am at 48 and am feeling a lot like you. Some days I am overwhelmed that we are so close and there is so much more to be done, then other days I am like "UGH!!! Will December ever get here?!"

I get that overwhelmed feeling alot, then I say, Chillax you still got over a month to go. Every little thing I can cross off my list is a huge weight taken off the my shoulders.

I just got all caught up! Sorry that Reese was sick! Glad she is feeling better though. We have been circulating a cold around our house for a few weeks also. It sucks! As long as it is gone by Disney I'll be fine! I love the scrapbook page. We have never seen the Pirate Tutorial. Poot loves pirates, so it is on our list for this trip. Really? That was my word, or question of the day. I love saying that. Really? But you have to say it with attitude, it's not really a question but a statement beginner, you know like, "Really? you're that ignorant?"

My Day started like this. I wake up (all my days start tlike this) but I wake up and go downstairs to get my clothes out of the dryer, but they are on top of the dryer and still wet, so I open the dryer and it's filled with Reeses clothes, Reese has already left for school but this does not stop from from cursing her little @ss! Really Reese? I mean really? So I put her clothes in the basket throw mine back in the dryer and I head back upstairs to jump in the shower. There's no hot water. Really guys? All the hot water? Dam!!!! so I freeze through the shower and managed to shave off all my goosebumps during that time. 40 bandaids later wrapped in robe I go back downstairs to collect my now dry clothes. I run back upstairs and get dressed, I go into my sock drawer and there aren't any socks. Really? C'Mon Reese, we talked about this, so I go in her room and steal a pair from her, monkeys chewing bubblegum socks was all I could find, Whatever!
I do my hair and go to spray it, but the can of spray is gone, Really Reese, did you have to take it to school with you. I finish getting ready and go into the kitchen for my breakfast, open the fridge there is maybe 2 drops of milk left REALLY? so I go for toast all that's left there is the butt of the bread, if I were to put that in the toaster it would shrivel to the size of a triscuit, so I just butter and jelly it and eat it au gratin.

Finally in my car, I start it up and the radio was so loud I actually screamed and ducked. Really Jim? We need it this loud why?

Now today must have been honk at Ty day, I know it's been a while since I have driven but Really? I'm so bad you need to point it out by burping your car at me and giving me the stink eye?

In Red Lion, traffic is at a stand still, they are working on the roads. They were working on that same stretch of road way back when I was a normal legged person. Really? you need our tax dollars that bad that you need to stretch out a 10 ft repair job over the span of 3 months. I mean Really?
While I'm stuck in traffic a fire truck comes barreling through, well it's all down to one lane, so I pull in behind a parked car on the side of the road, the fire trucks go by, I go to pull back out and this guy pulls right up next to me blocking me in, I have to roll the window down for this. "Dude!!! Really?" You're going to do me like that, Really? like you're one whole car length ahead now, still sitting and waiting the same as if you were still behind me." He said "I thought you were parking." Really? Even though everyone in front of me also pulled off to the side of the road?

I'm finally on my way again, I am 12 miles from home and it has taken me almost 40 minutes to get there. But I still make it to the Dr.'s office on time. I wait a few minutes before I am called back. He looks at my chart, the conversation goes as follows

Dr: hows the leg?
Me: Great
Dr: How's physiccal therapy going?
Me: Great
Dr: Feel like it's working?
Me: oh yeah,
Dr: Let me take a look, He looks at my leg, and comments on the bruising.
Me: Yea, the PT massages it pretty hard, he said it's to get all the fluid moving. then I giggle (this next part is all said in my mind) Really Ty? you're really going to make a joke out of that? Then I say it (in my mind still) That's what she said.

Dr: Well I am glad to see an improvement, let's keep this up for another 4 weeks, I will re evaluate your leg again in November.
Me: What about work?
Dr: Can they give you a sit down job?
Me: No
Dr: Then still no work

I gather up my papers and check out at the front desk. Head to my car and cry. Really? You're going to cry because you can't go to work for another 4 weeks? Hello? Really?

So I head over to BB&B, getting tailgated the whole time, and honked at. "Really?, if you were in such a hurry you should have left yesterday"

At work I ask for Steve, I am informed that Steve has been transferred, Really? Dang, I have been gone way too long.
SO I give my papers to Loyd and have to now clear Disney with him, since originally it was cleared with Steve, but Loyd said no problem.

I then head over to 5 Below to get some Disney Doo Dads, only they have like no more Disney DooDads, Really? is the world just forgetting about Disney, Really? has Disney had it's 15 minutes of retail fame? This sux, I do manage to get some socks though.

I had to dig into the far reaches of the abyss to find these.
I make my little Disney purchase and exit the store, running into one of my co workers,
"Ty, I heard you aren't coming back for another month, hhmm, you seem to be walking fine to me."

I think in my mind snippy little beeotch! but I say "Really? Diana, you're a Dr. now? Why the he!! stay at BB&B? I mean Really?"

I get in my car and this lady starts honking at me. "Really? Did you think I was going to pull out in front of you? I saw you and your big ocean liner you're driving."

I drive over to WalMart, this place is a mad house, I see a car close to the front pulling out so I put on my blinker and patiently wait, and wait, and wait, until "Really? are we going to make backing out of this spot an all day event? let's get a move on it, you're steering wheel is not going to break off."

Finally Aunt Bea gets her big ole crown victoria backed out and I start to pull in when , this car comes around me and pulls in, "Really?" I lay on the horn, the lady opens her door and I roll down my window. She says to me, "Were you waiting for this spot?"
"Really? did my turn signal mean something else to you, did you think I was using my signal to point at that spot for you to park there?" Back it the eff up lady." I didn't expect her to, but she did. Yay for me.
She finds a new spot to park, and her with her normal healthy leg made it to the carts just as I with my gimpy leg made it to the carts, we reached for the same cart at the same time, she gets all snide with me. "I suppose you think this is yours too, well I saw it first." and she grabs it and walks off leaving me there speechless, but only for a second. "Really? Cause we're still 5 and fighting over the red crayon."

I am hating my day, I wanted to go home and sleep, that's all I could think of, but Reese needed some artsy carp for a school project, "Really, why start on it early when you can wait till the last minute."
I start my search for the art area, they changed everything at WalMart and I forgot to mapquest art supplies before I left home, so I was lost in there. But sometimes being lost turns out to be a blessing in disguise, this is where my day changes, this is when God shown his light down on me, I found these.

I am so happy, I flip flop back and forth, do I want them both, or just one, which one do I want? I couldn't decide, so I did the natural thing, and got both. Now I am thinking about returning the pink ones because I think they might shrink in the wash and they are already almost too short, I can't have my jammies be too short. I might get the ChipnDale ones that I saw instead.

Then for shats-n-giggles I tried on a piar of jeans, I loved them and had to buy them. I left Walmart happy with my purchases.

I'm glad Reese is better and it serves Kent right for not listening to you again! When's he gonna learn The weather is getting colder now isnt it, time to dig out the jumpers I think. I still dont know what to pack for disney just gonna stalk some weather sites for a couple of weeks before and see what sort of temperatures they are predicting.

I'm sorry you won't be going back to work soon. I know it sort of sucks being home and it's boring and daytime tv really just sucks, but November will bring you closer to your trip, which you have had planned and cleared forever. So don't feel bad or worry about going back to work and then leaving again for vaca. Disney is a no guilt kind of trip, you should never feel bad about going and you definitely shouldn't feel bad since you have worked very hard and saved for a long time for this trip. (that's as much a pep talk to you as it is me, and anyone else who has ANY guilt about disney LOL )

I loved your "Really?" installment. It sounds like the perfect bad day. But leave it up to Disney to turn it right around for you!!! I had someone do that spot stealing to me at Walmart once, too. I had my grandmother (sick with pancreatic cancer) and was waiting on a close parking spot and someone whipped it in and got it from us. Yeah, they were young and healthy and could have easily walked the distance from the parking lot to the store, but no they made my elderly, sick grandmother do that. They didn't even care.

Then that lady's comment about the shopping cart. What a Bi - er, I mean witch.

I forgot to mention that too. LOL people like that just make me want to rip their arms off and beat them over the head with them.
