FFerret said:Any speculation out there that since it's the Mousefest cruise there might be fewer families with younger children going? Just curious![]()
Hi, FFerret. It's me again, Ray. I think that I can answer your question.
I went on my very first cruise last year, and it was a Disney Wonder cruise.
I went by myself, but I would probably never have gone by myself until Deb Wills of www.AllEarsNet.com said that many people go solo, so I didn't feel so bad.
Especially, since I wanted to see Deb and many of the other Disney book authors and Disney web founders.
I did see a lot of adults, but my stateroom was #6521 and it was in the forward section, so I only saw mostly adults around the adult pool above me.
But there were a lot of families there.
The only time that I new anyone was their solo was at my dinner table, or those that I had meet on the forums before going on the cruise.
There were many couples, too.
There were supposed to be a lot of Mousefesters there, but I didn't know many of them.
I think that is why it is nice to get to know each other like this before going.
If my stateroom was not forward, and below the adult pool, and on the opposite end of the children's pools and restaurants, then I would probalbly see more kids than adults.
I love seeing those children all dressed up waiting to see their favorite characters around the lobby christmas tree.
If you have any questions about my last years experinces from the December, 2004 cruise, please, just ask away.
Sincerely, Ray
