not to sound frugal but this is the budget board right? If say, within the next 2 weeks we get more people climbing on board, would their payment be lower and you could just refund some of the difference to the others who have paid $15, I know it's not a ton of money, but I'm thinking with an extra few dollars we could buy an extra mickey bar!!

For my fellow swappers. I just wanted to bring to everyone attention how much Parith is doing. currently we only have 8 swappers at $15 each that is $120. The stroller is 189.95 maybe $183 on a buy it now ebay thing. Parith is paying $78 to our $15 (with the cheaper version!) I would assume that as more people join us she will get paid off. We need about 4 more to just get her paid off. Then maybe if there are more we can get accessories.
I personally think this is a great budget idea and believe me I am looking forward to those Mickey Bars. I was going from $200+ to $15 for a stroller!
Thanks again Parith and lets get some more swappers and get you paid off!

I understand how it could seem unfair if you are one of the original swappers that you pay $15 and (once the stroller is paid off and the accessories bought) the next group of swappers essentially wouldn't pay at all. However it would be much too difficult to continue collecting money and refunding a percentage to those who had to originally pay. There will be no profit in this for me or for the OP (DebraW76), as a matter of fact there's a chance I'll be out quite a bit of money and only use a stroller for six days. Stroller swaps were started to save money from the high prices that Disney charges for their strollers, and to make it so people wouldn't need to lug a stroller through the airport. I hope that you can understand the situation. Maybe, those who get the stroller for free can donate an item to the next family, like wipes or snacks. I do realize the price of this swap was not announced until very recently. If you feel that you do not wish to participate, just pm me and I can refund your payment. Thanks for everyones participation and understanding.

I just assumed we'd donate the stroller to a charity when we were done with it.

In a way we are donating it to charity. We are letting families who need it to use it after we are done with it. To me, there is no difference between giving it to a charity store or just letting others who need one use it. This is what some of the fridge swaps and other stroller swaps are doing on the board.

O.T. our two sons (5 & 6) decided that it is easier if they sleep with their school clothes under their pajamas. They told me it doesn't take as long to get ready if they sleep like that.
