No problem, my pleasure, who doesn't love saving money. The reality is right now that the possibility of accessories for the first few swappers is slim. Never fear, we all have our on little tricks we can add to make the stroller more comfy for our prince and princess's. If we don't have a rain cover by your trip simply stop by your local dollar store and pick up a clear table cloth cover. Attach with some utility type hooks and viola your stroller is dry. Any more cheap or neat ideas....feel free to add to our budget minded swap.

p.s. I know my tip isn't that big of a secret, but we must keep our first page status.

yea, I PMd the moderator that posted the sticky thread about stroller swaps. I didnt get a reply so I PMd her again and asked for read confirmation and as of today my message wasn't read. Meaning either she is ignoring us or she hasn't logged on in quite a few days. If you know of another moderator then I could PM them?

Its not that I only wanted to go through November - I just advertised that way in hopes of filling up the early dates first. Sorry for the confusion and yes December is still valid - heck january and beyond are valid!

I hope you are not the last one. I think that after the first swappers use the stroller then we should continue the swap for free after the stroller is fully paid for. We (the organizers) are not in this to make money - I just wanted to offset the cost of a good double stroller by sharing it with others. After the swap pays for the stroller then i think we should continue to let others swap it for free. if any of us (those who actually paid) want to use it later (another trip to disney, anyone?) then we should get first priority over those who have did not pay.
Wouldn't that sound nice? "Honey, we have to go back so that we can use our stroller again!"

How does the payment thing work? I see you want to get 2 more (10 total) and then order. What will need to be done before this? If we have 10 people then in order to have a $20pp price we have to be able to get the stroller/shipping and accessories for $200, is that possible? I am just starting to check out all the prior recommended strollers so at this point I am a clean slate!

Parith1114 is actually handling the payment. I am just keeping up with the dates. But yes, those prices sound about right. I think the 10 was just a good number to start with. We are still hoping for more swappers.

Also are the resorts good about holding strollers? Currently there is a gap that is 10-11 days between TSNCS and myself.
I think that is all for my questions right now. I will check out these strollers. Am I right to assume that we are currently leaning toward In Step Suburban Safari Double Jogging stroller?

I sure hope so. I have never swapped anything before. It is possible for the resort to 'lose' a stroller. The best way to keep this from happening is to have your name, ressie number, arrival date, and phone number somehow attached to the stroller. Perhaps you mail a tag to the person in front of you? Oh, and make sure the name you give her is the same name on the room reservation and that the phone number is your cell. i.e. if the room is in your husband's name then you want that name on the stroller. If you are not doing a face to face swap please make sure the tag is big enough to find.

Hopefully we will have enough money to purchase a stroller bag. that may help it not get 'lost'.

What is the size of the stroller when it is folded?
We only be using Disney buses,etc. and won't have a car. So I'm concerned about folding it and getting on crowded buses.

That's weird, I just checked the web site and dimensions are not listed. We too will be using only Disney transportation, I think it will be alright. I will try and find another site that lists this info.

Hey great news! Just looked on eb@y and found the info. Folded dimensions are 37x32x19. Hope this helps.

Got to looking at that eb@y site and realized the buy it now on the stroller we choose is $159 with $24 shipping, saving us a whooping $6.

Boy our thread took off today!!! It is only 9:30 here and I had to read a whole page of new responses, WAY TO GO!!

We are also only using buses. I know it is going to be "bulky" but if I handle the kids DH can work the stroller into bus (I believe it is 34 pounds)

I am now going to try and figure my paypal out! If I cant figure it out DH gets stuff on ebay all the time and he will do it for me later.

Did you see we are on the sticky now! I bet we get more families soon!

I really think having the rain cover will protect the stroller future users. I realize that we want to add on stuff after more swappers join but I think we should keep our investment in as good of condition as possible. Some of you will be there during hurricane season and this might be very useful. They seem to run between $14-$30 I have no problem buying my own and leaving it there but as the last person to use the stroller(as of now) this does not help anyone else. Even if there is just 1 or 2 that definatly want this maybe we could split the price and whoever is there first will bring it down. Just something to think about.
