I have been using my debit card with the mastercard logo to make my PS and Photography package and the CM's I spoke with say this is fine. Our goal is to do this trip (11/25-12/4) without incurring any debt on a CC. Too tempting to charge-so far so good!

I don't know if you will be renting a car but all the agencies have different policies on debit cards. Other than that using your debit card is a great idea. We do that also.

Budget and Alamo will allow imprinting of a debit card as long as you have proof of plane reservations. I will have to call them(Budget) though since I booked with JetBlue and there is no ticket-although I do have a printout with my ressie #.

I'd be careful about using your debit card. Not to dampen your spritis, but when we were down there last year we used our debit card at the parks and our number was stolen and used in some type of credit card theft ring. Fortuantely we caught it early and the bank didn't make us pay for the charges. It seems that thieves target Orlando for all the tourist. You could just set the $ aside and use your credit card and pay it off when you return. That's what we have done since then.

Also be careful, because a lot of banks have a limit for how much you can withdrawl per day with your debit card. My bank has a limit of $500, but some banks can run as little as $200. Check with your bank to see if they have a limit, and if so, how much. Make sure you don't go over that limit.
