Debbie's Watermelon Trip Report - The Sequel! Day 3

Yet another hot day today! 90+ with lots of humidity. Yikes!

Today, I actually spent most of the day off Disney property - something I don't do frequently. It's so hard for me to get off property that it's a hassle for me to even try, but today was a different story. Debbie (EpcotKilterFan) and I decided to go to a fundraiser for the Lake Buena Vista Academy in Windermere, so we ventured over there. It was a great time - there were a bunch of young kids there that were a lot of fun to watch. Plus, the entertainment was great - a few performers from a performance school in FL that were excellent. And, who can forget Off Kilter? What a day! We left the Dolphin at 10:15 and returned back at nearly 4PM. It was a long day, but a lot of fun!

I stopped for a quick snack, then headed out to (where else?) Epcot! Both ToD's went, and it was especially emotional for me and the other ToD regulars, as one of the long-time ToN/ToD CM's, Sarah, was leaving tonight. She received an incredible position working on Tokyo Disneyland, and she leaves tomorrow, so tonight was her last performance. It was so sad to see her go!

The heat has really worn me out, so I am headed straight to bed. What a day!

I'm sorry your friend is moving but boy what a job!! She should have a great time in Tokyo. The heat is awful here too. Debi. I hope you are drinking plenty of water.
