Debating YC CL?

Less than 22 days out now....guess I should be dancing.

Since I am not going next year for my bday in April (no Nelson during the Flower Power Concert Series and I decided on Tahiti), I am wondering if I should go to CL for the YC or switch and go to CL BWI? Or should I be happy with what I have?

I am going Nov 26th-Nov. 30th and it is only 4 of us, 2 adults, DS 14, and DS is going to be 6 on this trip. They don't really care but I kinda do. I have the chance to upgrade for a minimum pricing- about $200 more overall.

What is everyone's opinion? I can use the extra money for Christmas or for a couple of really nice souvies for me....

Advice or suggestions as I have never stayed at CL at either place.

YC CL is nice, we stayed there a few years back. The lounge is a little small, but the CMs are friendly and helpful. That's a decent upgrade price too.

I would go with Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn for these reasons. Their Cast Members are simply amazing and are reason enough to stay there. Besides that their lounge is very nice and according to others it's bigger then the one at the Yacht Club. Finally in terms of overall distance the Boardwalk is closer to Epcot and is the closest Epcot Resort when walking to Hollywood Studios.

I decided to upgrade to CL this time to see what it's all about. I think if you don't, you'll always wonder.

As for what resort - either will be great and you can't go wrong. Of course if you go BWI you won't get Stormalong which was one big factor for us.

I've stayed YC CL and although it was ok - it was just ok. I've heard many times that BWI CL is WAY better - offerings, service, etc.

That is where we are staying when we go next year for sure.

We have stayed YC CL twice and although I enjoyed it the first time we experienced it, about 10 years ago, I was not as enamoured with it the second time, about 5 years ago. For a minimal upgrade that you feel is within your budget and the fact that you have not done it before I vote that you should go for it!

I can't comment about which one is better since we have never experienced BWI's CL. YC is one of my favorite resorts and I am partial to it over BWI. Maybe someday we will try the BWI CL but that will have to be a goal after I work towards a POLY stay which is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. Whichever you choose I hope you come back and tell us what you think when you get back!
