Debating another trip...

in January to WDW. I was thinking Jan 28-Feb 2 (maybe even a little before or after depending on how much vacation time I have left) and, blasphemy I know , but maybe even a side trip to Universal.

I know the weather is iffy at that time of year, but how are the crowds? Touringplans rates most of the time a 4 or 5, but I really hate to rely on a website for info. If I could get some first hand comments, I would be most appreciative. I have the opportunity to go off season early next year and would like to pick the best time. TIA!

The crowds are really down in January. However, the weather can be chilly and they tend to choose this offseason for renovations. That being said I did still notice a lot of characters but not all the parades were going either.
