Debate: Who should Kerry pick as his running mate?

Just believe and don't question and we'll all be just fine......:rolleyes:

This is something that has confused me for some time, on both sides. Why is it assumed that because someone disagrees with your POV ("your" in a general sense) that means that they haven't questioned and thought about the issues? Whatever happened to the notion that intelligent people on both sides can simply disagree?

I wonder why no one talks about Sen. Joe Biden as a potential VP? Did he say he wouldn't do it? Biden has incredible foreign policy expertise, plus he's amazingly charismatic. I'd take him in a second.

My response was in reaction to the apparent idea that if you don't agree with Bush's policies then you're apparently too ignorant to understand the issues.

He offered no argument to what seems to perfectly valid points so he just implies that somehow she isn't capable of understanding the issues.

My last post wasn't a point of view regarding the false reporting of terrorist activity, those are simply facts. There's no honest disagreement to be had over the fact that terrorism has increased since Bush took office.

So, it would seem to me that this is a question you should ask wdwdvcdad.

::yes::

As for Biden, I think he lost his taste for presidential politics when he ran and got slammed over some plagiarism issue. I get the impression he's happy where he is.

Why would Kerry pick Edwards? He said he doesn't need the South to win the presidency.

"Everybody always makes the mistake of looking South," Kerry said, in response to a question about winning the region. "Al Gore proved he could have been president of the United States without winning one Southern state, including his own."

Or has he "changed his mind" on that, too?
