DEBATE: Random searches on Boston's Subways

I've always been one who said that I have nothing to hide so search away but even I'm starting to wonder where this might be leading. What's next... random house searches, random car searches, random body searches?

Yes there are terrible people out there who do unspeakable things but how much of our freedom can we give up and still be free?

Just looking for other opinions.

These shouldn't be random searches. They should be full, complete searches. Subways are a big threat. Subways have been used in other places in terrorist attacks. I don't care about my civil liberties. Make this place safer.
