Since I'll be in the Miami area a few days before my first cruise out of Miami and renting a car, I won't need transfers to the port. However, getting to the airport after we disembark will be a different story. Uber fare estimate is around $23 but of course that doesn't factor in their surge pricing which I'm sure is very high when cruise ships are docked.
The Uber fare would be half of what we'd spend on the 1-way DCL transfer to MIA. Just didn't know what everyone has done after their cruise. I feel that the DCL transfer option may not be the cheapest option, but it would be the easiest.
