Debark/airport time?

Since we are planning on doing the Radisson/Avis route for our cruise, when it is time to depart & go back to MCO, what would be a reasonable departure time for a flight?
I found one flight for 11:25 AM, and just wondered if that is realistic considering getting the rental car,our luggage, checking in at the airport, etc.

Someone who has done the Radisson/Avis option, please let me know. Thanks!!!

MtDewbuzz. We are on the same cruise as you, August 3rd, right? I'll tell you my experience about disembarking from our last 2/23/02 cruise.

We ate a later breakfast and were still off the ship by 9:00 am. We just walked off. At that time there were hardly any people or bags left in the luggage pick up area. We had no problem getting a porter. The shuttles are ususally waiting in the parking lot. First thing I would do different would be to send just one person from the group (we had 14) because it was impossible to cram all the luggage and people in the Avis/Radisson shuttle van. This time I or my hubby will just go and pick up the car and then return to the port to pick up others and luggage. There was A VERY LONG line at Avis of people waiting to pick up cars. The Carnival ship also comes into the same port so you have all those people also.

We were in downtown Disney about 11:00 am. So, you might want to push your flight back a bit just to make sure. Of course, you could get off the ship much earlier than we did if you still want that flight.

When I got back this month we debarked before the carnival cruise, I don't know what time they let them off but by 8:15 am I had my suitcases, they were packed in my car and I was on the road home.
