Explanation is due.... We didn't have a formal receiving line at the reception, so we went from table to table to greet everyone. Our guests arrived at the reception about an hour before we did cause, back then, you did NOT take pictures before the wedding (bad luck and all that).

Well, at each table, Rick was handed drinks by everyone, and he drank them - of course!!! We had champagne with dinner, drinks afterwards, and by the time it came to consummate the marriage - Rick was sicker than a dog!! We ended up sleeping in separate beds because he was so sick that just me turning over would send him running into the bathroom! The place we had our reception at on Longboat Key gave us a suite as their wedding present to us, and this suite had 2 bedrooms, one with 2 king sized beds, one with 2 queen sized beds, a couch that folded out into a queen size bed, and 2 twin murphy beds. Due to DH & his puking episodes, I crept into another bed & went to sleep. In the morning, Rick wanted me to make the bed I slept in so the maid wouldn't know we didn't sleep together (like - who cares what the maid thinks?). Did I do that??? Oh HELL no!!! I went thru the suite and tore all the beds up so it looked like we were maniacs!!!

My evil brother called us at 7:30am the next morning to ask if we consummated the marriage!!! :eek:
