Here now, having a blast and curious...walking from marvel island to toon lagoon, there is a large "arena" like structure on the left. Seems pretty big from outside, what is/was this. Staging for a long ago show?

I believe you're near the Toon Lagoon Theater (Theatre?).... When I attended the 2011 Harry Potter event, they had cast member Q&As there. I think there were benches in stadium-style rows and there was a large-ish stage front and center.

Yes, the Toon Lagoon Theater. I've never seen a show in it. Like the previous poster mentioned it was used at times for HP events. The most recent regular show in the space was Matt Hoffman's Agro Circus, a seasonal show during the summer. It is now used mainly for "special events". Pete (owner of the Dis) at least hinted that the Podcast would be done from that venue on Dec. 6th, the day after the Diagon Alley Disapalooza event.

From 2002-2004 it was Mat Hoffman`s Freakin Crazy Stunt Show. It closed for issues and the name Freakin. It stayed vacant used only for special stuff until 2010. That's when they gave it a second go with Mat Hoffman`s Aggro Circus. That was a spring break and summer show.

The space is also rented out to private parties and buisness events.

I forgot about that! He made a reference to it being like an "Oprah's Favorite Things" episode.... I wonder if there'll be some awesome swag????? I really wish I could be there!!! :-D

I saw a show in there way back in time, probobably late 90s early 2000s when I was solo during an early November trip (travelling with my sister who was in conferenced during the day). I can't remember if it was a stunt show or some sort of variety show. I enjoyed it.
