Dear Disney and On-Line ADR system,

I am so frustrated & annoyed!!!

One would think that, since they KNOW about this problem, they would open up their phone lines at 6:00 am instead of 7:00 am to compensate.

What is the number we have to call? And I thought there was a way to bypass all the prompts somehow?

ETA: Why won't it let you book Fantasmic Dining packages after June online right now?

The number is 407-939-3463.

And, yes, I think there is a way to bypass all the prompts, but I don't know what it is!

I wish I did though... especially this morning!!

This just stinks! This has been going on since October 2011 and next month will be 6 months that this has not worked! It all started when the system was adjusted to require cc for certain reservations (buffets/characters/sign). I can't believe it's still not fixed. Obviously this is not high on the list of things to fix! Maybe the CMs did this so that there could be some job sercurity in the call center! I had problems booking my April/May trip (back in late October) and now next month I'll be booking my October ADRs so exactly six months since this all began.

Hate to hear that everyone has had problems booking their ADRs...what a pain that would be - I'd be a nervous wreck. I haven't been on here in a while, so thankfully I hadn't seen anything about this problem, and didn't have any problems booking my ADRs at 6am this morning. Got everything except Fantasmic, which apparently, they haven't loaded dates past June yet. So, getting ready to call for that one in a few minutes.

I wonder why some people can book online & others can't...

We booked our trip through AAA. Our reservation does show up on Disney's site & the confirmation number on Disney's site matches the confirmation number on my paperwork, but I wonder if that makes any difference - that we booked through AAA & not through Disney.

Did you book directly through Disney?

And, yes, I am a nervous wreck!

I love making this call and the automated thing telling me that I could make these reservations at my own convenience ONLINE! I tried to do that automated lady but it won't let me! :headache:

Me too!!!!

Now I'm on hold for an estimated 30 minutes. This is after my call was disconnected the 1st time.

I am soooo beyond annoyed. I just an email to Disney.

We booked through AAA as well, but it was booked as a bounce-back offer with Disney first. They just sent the paperwork to Disney. I was actually wondering the same thing. Good luck - I hope you get everything you wanted!

I got lucky and got right through. Got everything I was looking for within 20 minutes or so of when I wanted it. Glad that's one less thing I have to stress about.

Ha! I yelled at the phone when I heard that. :rotfl2:

I wound up calling at 7 and being on hold for about 18 minutes, with a wait time of "about" three minutes... Wound up sending my older two kids to the bus without me because I was still on the phone when it was time to leave, and walked my youngest to school just in time for the bell. Fortunately, I got everything I was hoping for.

OMG! It's 8:25 am, & I'm finally done! :thumbsup2

I called right at 7:00 pm & was on hold, of course, for about 25 minutes until the call was disconnected. So I called back & was on hold until 7:50 am when the call was again disconnected.

I called back & was once again put in the "hold" pattern. So, w/ my other phone, I called one of Disney's general customer service numbers & explained the situation & asked if there was any way he could connect me to an actual agent since I'd been on hold for 50 minutes since the call kept disconnecting & every time I called back I was put back in the "hold" pattern.

He apologized & said he'd see what he could do, but that he would probably end up in the same hold pattern as me. But, not 5 minutes later, I was talking to a Disney dining agent who also was very apologetic.

He was super-efficient! We did all the ADRs first & then he took my credit card #, gave me the specific restaurant information, & gave me all the confirmation numbers - so it went a lot faster than it could have!

And the most important thing - I got everything we wanted pretty close to the times we wanted.

The only that was off a bit was Sci-Fi which surprised me since it's on Day 7 of our trip. I wanted 12:00, & the only two times that were available were 11:30 am & 12:30 pm. I took the 11:30 am.

Oh, & I also got a good Mama Melrose's Fantasmic Lunch Package time.

Whew!!

I also called Disney's technical service while I was on hold, & the agent I spoke with said that they were aware of the problem & had been working on it for a while.

I just think, though, that, since they are aware there's a problem, they need to maybe open their phone lines at 6:00 am instead of 7:00 am & possibly also have more agents there to take all the extra calls.

Anyway, I'm done! And hopefully all our ADRs show up w/ our reservation!

hmmm, I called at 7am and got everything I wanted within 5 minutes of my times! Except T-Rex, who knew that would be the happening place to be on a Saturday night?!?! Anyway, most dates got our exact times, except for 2 which I got 5 minutes prior to my time. After reading your posts, I'm shocked I got right through!

Call T-Rex directly to book. They don't release all their times to Disney Dining.

For everyone that has had to call, do they book each reservation at a time or book them all at the end? I've never called before. Do you have to listen to them repeat all the information for every reservation or can they just tell you at the end?

Thanks for the PSA on T-Rex, will do.

As for the phone, after the first ADR, she gave me the spiel and then said ok, this will apply to all of them and then we went through, bang, bang until my last one. She read them all back to me, told me about the No Show fee and then took my card at the end. After the card went through, she read off each confirmation number to me. All in all, my call was about 15 minutes long. Not bad at all. I didn't ask any questions, I just gave her the info and she looked up availability closest to my times and then she booked it.

Thank you!! I think part of my problem was I was using my cell phone initially since I have free long distance, & the call was automatically disconnecting after being on hold for so long. I didn't think it would do that since there was music playing, but who knows?

Anyway, while I was on hold for the 3rd time, I called a generic Disney number with my land line phone & got through that way.

I hope everyone else was able to get through & get all their ADRs too!!

It's kinda funny now how panicky I was getting... I was just sure that, while I was on hold, all the ADRs were getting snapped up by everyone else! The agent who made the ADRs for me was calm & efficient & reassuring - they are probably quite used to having to deal with panicky people!

My agent was a lot like the PP. He took my name, address, & the number in our party & then proceeded to book each restaurant for me. We just went down the list. After he made the reservations, then he took my credit card # & applied it to the reservations where needed, then he read all the "restaurant specifics" to me, & then he went down the list & read me all my different confirmation numbers.

If I remember correctly, I was speaking to him by 8:00 am, & I was done by 8:20 am.

In the past, before the online system, when I've called to make reservations, the agent has read all the restaurant specifics after each reservation. Because of the glitch in the online system, they are probably trying to do things a little more quickly & more efficiently.

I've had similar issues and, in fact, have not been able to view my ADRs or see them linked in any way to my ressie for about 6 weeks now. I have made several expensive international calls to confirm my ADRs. Today I had another problem with the website during online check-in and I gave in and called Tech support. They were essentially of no use and said about my online check-in issue, "you're right, it doesn't seem to be working". Really? I took the opportunity to ask about the ADR issue and she said that Disney is aware of the problem and at this point they do not have an estimated fix date. At least I felt better knowing it wasn't just an issue with my ADRs and ressie.

Got online at 6 hoping to be able to book, didn't know about the online issues! :confused3 So I called about 7:05 because I dozed back off waiting. Said it would be about a 15 minute wait when it actually turned into a 45 minute wait. But once I got through we were able to get everything we wanted within 5 minutes of what we wanted. Except for Ohana we had to move back about 25 minutes but with there being 10 of us for that one we didn't want to take any chances so we took it.

My situation was that we are a party of 10 and some places we want to be split up in to two tables of five so that the kids can get a break from each other at times. So I had to go through and make ours and then have them go in with my sister in law's reservation number after all of mine and get theirs about the same time as ours.

The CM was very persistent that she knows we are a party of 10 since I am booking separate reservations but wants us to know that we cannot go to the podium and request to be close together to beat the 18% gratuity. I told her that was fine but she very persistent about it and honestly kind of rude.

But overall I am very pleased with what we got. And we were able to book two Fantasmic Dining Packages for Mama Melrose lunch so that works good for us!
