Dear Abby - Can You Help?

After a recent trip to our local ASDA I have discovered I’m suffering from a new and terrible disease called BOGOF , Buy One Get One Free!!! I used to suffer from BOGOHP , Buy One Get One Half Price and that was bad enough, especially when the Half Price perishables perished before I got around to using them but at least I would only buy things we could actually use but now as a sufferer of BOGOF I find myself buying things we have absolutely no need for, as DD was quick to point out “but mum we don’t even have a dog or cat!” well Baker’s Complete will make a nice change from Custard Creams and I’m sure my little darlings won’t even notice that their lasagne is made from KiteKat’s finest chunks!

Abby I need your help! is there any known cure for the dreadful BOGOF ? do you know of other poor inflicted sufferers? and, more importantly, can you please tell me how I can convince my DH that Grecian 2000 for Men will be useful when he’s as bald as Yul Brenner?

Night-Train there are three little words in the English language that any woman finds hard to resist and I’m not talking about all the lovey dovey stuff, oh no! the three little words guaranteed to make any red blooded female take leave of all her senses are:

Annmarie, I'm afraid that once you suffer from BOGOF, you are very likely to get WIGIG as well, and this can result in permanent impairment of good judgement

I'd urge you to seek professional advice or a restraining order on your supermarket visitation rights as WIGIG (When It's Gone It's Gone) may land you with TVs and other electrical appliances that are surplus to your requirements

Oh No, my private health care doesn’t cover therapy and I’m already on a restraining order! I only got to visit last weekend because DH was out of the country (please don’t anyone tell him although all the ‘free’ stuff may give it away).

WIGIG sounds like a timebomb just waiting to explode, how can these people get away with spreading such diseases without even so much as a glint of a health warning!
