Deals and discounts ?

At what point do you think it is safe to assume that there will be no deals, discounts or packages for a vacation time? How many months ahead of time? Or, putting it another way, how far in advance are deals out? And, if they are not out by then, is it safe to assume that there is nothing worth altering a room only reservation for?

My family is holding a Dolphin teacher's rate for 4/24 and also for POR with the hope that we can switch a room only reservation to whatever else might come along. We made these reservations in late June. I know some deals were posted for 2004. Is that all there will be? If so, we didn't see anything much worth our while.

Sometimes discounts come out as late as a month before, so I wouldn't rule them out completely, BUT Spring Break it is harder to get the discounts, as they go quickly when they come out usually. So watch the boards and have you signed up for the any discount email newletters? I'll PM you with the names of a couple of good ones.
