Deal on iPod Touch?

Does he have a DS or DSi? We got our son a DSiXL last year and it's awesome. Not sure what he's getting "big" this year, probably just a few games and maybe a bike?

He does. Both kids got the DSi XL last Christmas. He wants a Super Mario game for it, but it's only $32. A bike might be a good idea, although both kids ride their Razor scooters constantly so I'm not sure he's even interested in having a bike right now.

Ugh, I swear it was so much easier buying gifts when they were younger. 6 is like no man's land... I have no idea what to get him.

At Target on Black Friday the 8GB is going to be $199...then you get a $40 target gift card, there is also a 10% off coupon and I got a $15 off $100 card on the book with the coupons...

if you got that book - it would $165 and you would have a $40 Target gift card.

My Target catalog did not come with the $15 off $100 card! Wonder what happened to it?? Would love to save another $15.

I got the 8GB White iPod Touch today at Target for $167 + $20 GC. It was $195 and then my 10% off any iPod coupon and then 5% off for using my Target Card and then no tax in NH. I thought this was a great price and then I get the $20 GC on top. YIPPEE!!!

And then I just ordered an OtterBox from Amazon for $16 less than the OtterBox site and free shipping with Prime. I am almost done with shopping and now don't need to shop on Black Friday.

Not all of the catalogs had the coupon. I got 2 in the mail, one didn't have any coupon and the other had a get a $5 GC with a $50 purchase. I even forgot to use it today

My $15 off coupon came off of the Target holiday catalog, not the toy catalog. The toy catalog had the $5 off toys coupon. Just in case this helps anyone locate the right catalog!!

As far as Amazon savings because no taxes are collected, don't most states require you to pay the tax for those items on your state tax return? Illinois does. I thought most states do. I would rather pay the taxes when I buy, not have to keep track of it for when I file my tax return.

Is the debit card different from the red credit card? I don't want to open a cc but I'd definitely sign up for a debit card if it would pull the money from our account like my bank debit. I looked but did not see anything about it on the website.

Yep the card is a red debit card-it comes right from your bank account.Just need a blank check and they can do it right at the return area.You save the 5% off every purchase right away.Just tell them you want the debit card-it is only for use at target.

Yep the card is a red debit card-it comes right from your bank account.Just need a blank check and they can do it right at the return area.You save the 5% off every purchase right away.Just tell them you want the debit card-it is only for use at target.

I picked up a white and a black 32 yesterday at Target. Both kids REALLY want Itouches this year. Now the call has also been placed to Grandma as she will be buying the accessories for both Itouches.
It feels so so good to have the BIG present out of the way. Now I need to practice self control and not go crazy buying other things for the kids for Christmas.

I just asked the one employee, but there was a sign for the 32 gb that said $20 gift card with purchase of the 32. I'll look at my flyer though. I tried to see if I could get it online, but it must be an in-store thing, and I think the 10% coupon is only in store. Oh yeah, the employee said last week was when they offered the $20 gc for the 8 gb.

YAY!!! I went back in and showed them my ad and after a few people talked, they said they would honor it! So I got the $20 gift cards! A lady there told me to get the 2-year replacement plan for $17 and said she has used it twice and they just have you get a new one instead of trying to fix it, so hopefully I didn't just blow my savings. She said her DD dropped it just in the car, but the glass cracked and they replaced it no problem. I never buy these kinds of things, but may be worth the piece of mind.

I will tell you that the ad leaked for Target BF has a $40gift card attatched to the 8gb iPod. But that is gambling that you'll stand in line for a midnight opening, put up with the crazies, and "maybe" get one before they sell out.

If you ask me, today's $20 gc is the way to go, considering

Target does have a 14 day price adjustment on sale prices (not valid on red sticker clearance, or seasonal items) It's hard to say whether or not the free gift card applies. (Technically you paid $195 for the ipod, as noted on the reciept. Technically the ipod on BF is also $195. The freebie is just bigger!)

Right now I am holding onto the gift card, printed a new coupon, and the reciept to see if they do the price adjustment at guest services Friday.

You can also try your luck and see if you can get the ipods Friday, (or a better deal elsewhere) as Target has a 90 day return policy. Buy the "better beal" and return what you got today. Just make sure you return the right iPod as they scan the serial number!

Is there a way to print another coupon? Mine says coupon has already been printed when I tried to print another. I bought mine tonight but if they will price change on Black Friday I will lose out on the 10%.
