Deadpool Premier?

Does anyone know if they actually showed Deadpool last night (or perhaps that they're going to show it tonight) on any of the ships?
On the Magic now. They showed it in the Walt Disney Theater at 10:30p on Thursday (yes 90 minutes before the actual premier, and my table mates bragged to those at home about it) and again at 11pm on Saturday night, so it didn't replace a regular show. They showed Inside Out 2 on night 3 at regular showtimes

They showed it and announced several times that anyone under 17 had to have an adult over 21 there for the whole show and ID everyone under 25
Was there someone actually there checking IDs, or were they just saying they would and hoping folk complied?

(FWIW I don't have kids and snuck into my share of movies as a kid, I'm just asking in case it comes up later).

Ooh, will they still be showing in a month? Want to see it again. I was shocked at the number of kids in line when we went to the theatre on Friday. But really, beyond the swearing, many of the jokes will go right over a kids head.

Yes, people have been reporting that if anyone looks under 25 then they need to show ID to cast members at the theatre entrance.

We saw the matinee on the Wish last Thursday. I nice surprise as we disembarked on Friday.

I’m on fantasy right now and they are showing it tonight (Monday). They are checking ID and the cruise director made a point about that earlier.

Just off the Magic. There were CMs there for the whole show and seemed be keeping an eye on the audience.

Bad mum of the year but - would you say it would be ok for a 9 year old? Violence doesn't bother him (he loves horror movies!) and even though he hears plenty of swearing (he doesn't like it and tells his dad off!) he has never used any bad language. It's more the sex that I don't particularly want him watching (I re-watched the first movie and was going to get him to watch it - mainly for the first part - but then it got a little too adult for my liking!)

USA Today addresses your question head on saying it’s on par with the first two Deadpool’s in terms of violence and sexual innuendos. It says in the first couple of minutes there are *****, butt, and ************ jokes. I didn’t star those words, the web site filtered them so….lol.

ya, no actual sex scenes, it’s just the innuendo. Which at nine, may just go right over their head. A lot of fast talking, I could not even absorb all the jokes 🤣 (nor understand all of them..)

I have no kids though, just a 10 year old niece, and her mom would never let her watch it. (

I mean, I wouldn’t even let my 9-year-old watch the preview, let alone the movie, sooooo…

I tend to trust Common Sense Media - their rating is 17+, and even their “parents say” rating (which tends to be a little more lax) says 14+.

All three Deadpool movies are a 15 in the UK, so I’d say the 14+ isn’t far off tbh.

Right but how are they enforcing it?
My son 19 had to scan his magic band to prove that he was over 17. Anyone that’s questionable was asked to scan. All the kids in his 18-20 group he went with had to scan.

We rewatched it yesterday when we were on the Wish and they were asking everyone who looked remotely “young” either for ID or to confirm who their guardian was. That being said, I can’t see how they were enforcing having chaperones there for the duration of the movie (as the activity stated they would) because the CMs were only posted outside and adults could definitely come and go as they pleased.

Maybe they just want a chaperone with the minors to show they had consent from an adult. More of a liability issue. Honestly what’s a chaperone going to do put a hand over their eyes and ears to protect them from bad language, nudity or violence. Probably not.
