That's been the question, yes. We'll have a clear answer soon, I hope.I was not aware they showed R rated films on the ships. I thought it had to be PG-13 or lower.
I’ve heard the Wonder showed it and will be showing it over the weekend also.I've been trying to find this out too, a couple of people on Facebook have said it was showing on the Wonder!
According to the CM I just chatted with they do not have a policy against R-rated movies but she said that Deadpool and wolverine is not on the list of movies that will be shown anytime soon. That's been the question, yes. We'll have a clear answer soon, I hope.
Shoreside CMs are sometimes misinformed as to what is actually occurring on the ships. Although I would think it wouldn't be hard for the ships to provide updated lists of movies to them since it's a common inquiry.I think the CM I chatted with on the DCL website was probably a former bus driver.![]()
How are they handling it...? Are they verifying kids are with a guardian before allowing them into the theatre? Is someone posted at the doors throughout the movie?Yes it is on my ship
Is that a Disney movie? Don't they only show Disney (Marvel, Star Wars, etc.) films?Hoping this bodes well for Alien: Romulus, which premieres during our upcoming cruise.
It’s going to be shown in the Walt Disney theater for us on Monday, replacing Descendants Rise of Red I think .I am currently aboard the Fantasy. We just watched Aladdin and after the show Cruise Director Stephen announced on stage that they would be showing Deadpool later on our cruise. It’s currently night 2 of our 10 night Southern Caribbean sailing.
He didn’t offer any details on the logistics or when it would be shown.

(OT) Aw, JunNk. They are fun. I haven't seen them in awhile! It’s going to be shown in the Walt Disney theater for us on Monday, replacing Descendants Rise of Red I think .
