Deadliest Catch Fans:

I just talked to Sig....on the phone!! OMG I'm so excited. I can't find the Deadliest Catch thread, so I thought I'd start this one.

My parents are on vacation in Alaska and Sig is at the Mall for an appearance. They are getting autographs & pictures. My dad called me & put Sig on the phone, and said he took pictures while he was talking to me.

Whenever they get back & I get the pictures, I'll post them for anyone interested.

The conversation went like this:

Sig: Hello, dear.
Me: Hey, how you doing?
Sig: Doing fine, recovering from last night. (??)
Me: Oh, Well I love your show.
Sig: I'm glad you're a fan.
Me: Yeah, my mom & dad are on vacation from SC, and they wanted to know what souvenir I wanted, & I told them all I wanted is a picture and autograph from you! (me laughing)
Sig: OK, dear, I gotcha covered.
Me: I love your show. Thank you!

I'm just goofy excited right now!

He's the captain of the boat Northwestern.
He's on the show Deadliest Catch which is about crab fishing up in Alaska

Sig is probably the most famous captain from that show. Heck they sell Northwestern merchandise in the Norway shops at Epcot and sometimes the Hansen brothers make appearances there.

Sig is my favorite captain.

I love the show! Dh and I met Sig and Edgar last December at Epcot when they were appearing in Norway. The WDW photographers were there and we got some fantastic pics taken with them!

We were at Epcot last month and stopped in Norway. One of the girls working there said the boys will be back around the beginning of July 09 but she didn't know the exact dates yet.

When they are there, they have lots of Northwestern merchandise on sale. We were there on their last day and the merchandise was discounted!

Yes, it is their brother, Norman Hansen. He is on the show, but doesn't like to be filmed. I believe this pic was taken when they were at Epcot in 2008.

This past December 2008, only Sig and Edgar were at Epcot. I asked them about Norman and Edgar told me that Norman was camera shy and was back at home!

Any idea when they'll be back at Epcot? I saw them in the Celebration Town Tavern last summer while they were here. Was surprised to hear they ordered Philly cheese steaks - I guess everyone gets sick of fish eventually!

Just returned from Epcot. One of the Norway cast members said Sig will be there from July 30 - August 2.

How exciting! We were in the Norway pavilion in DEC 08; we got off the boat ride and all these people were in the gift shop. I finally turned around and saw what all the excitement was about: SIG AND EDMUND! We had ressies at GF for dinner so their was no time to get in line. I snapped 2 pictures of them over my shoulder. One kinda turned out and I was giddy! I like Sig, but Phil is my guy .

I have met them three times at Epcot and OMG the stories and pictures I have everything from Edgar sticking a keychain I made him up his nose to everything else. I can share if everyone likes.
