I'd just like to add a quick birthday mention for Eve

She'll be 8 in the morning (well, 01.08 to be precise )

She's an absolute 'star', as always, but has had to cope with the news that her great nan has died and that Daddy's MRI, brain scan results, are pretty rubbish this week (expected but sad, none the less)

Happy Birthday sweetheart and I WILL cope with taking five 8 year old girls to the cinema on Saturday........

I'm sure 8 year old girls are easier than 8 year old boys, though prob much louder - yes!!! We had a bunch of 8 year old boys in august at my DS 8th birthday - they kept disappearing!!

Good luck anyway, and hope your DD has a great birthday. It's my friends son's 9th birthday today, by the way!

We had a great day today, with everyone popping in and out.....
As far as 'girls vs boys' goes I'd say definitely less verbal (on the boy front) but, also, definitely more physical on the boys.........this is speaking from parental experience of both sexes ...;-)

Now, please gather all that pixie dust for tomorrow's cinema visit please........!
