Hi
I want to know is it true that starting next year you will bw able to have DDP
with DVC ?? if so when do you add it ??? when do you add it ?? when booking by phone ? or when you get there ( at your home resort ) ?? do you have to buy a day of pass ( If not buying an annual pass ) ?

We were able to add the DDP this year too. You have to call MS and have them add it to your reservation - it can't be added at check-in; but you don't pay for it until you check in. You do not have to buy a ticket or AP either! HTH's!

I got DDP on a DVC points stay in June 2006, so it's been available for some time.

I added the DDP to our June 2008 trip today. We pay for it at check-in ($778 for 2 adults for 10 days). Given Disney's prices for food, this is completely worth it to us.

we've been using it since 1st offered (i think 2005 ).
the rules" that still apply:
it must be purchased for everyone on ressie, for every night of ressie. DDP has to be added prior to check-in (cannot be added at desk).
unlike the DDP for reg resort guests however, there is no requirement to purchase a park pass.
if you go over to the DDP board, you can check into the new plan for 2008 (it is changing somewhat).
