DDP with DDE???

Is it possible to use DDE in conjunction with the DDP? For example, we get a TS but wish to purchase appetizers and pay separately. Could I get the discount on the appetizers while the DDP covers the remainder of the meal? I read through the DDP brochure and didn't see anything prohibiting that but wanted to see if anyone has actually tried to use both. There may be something in the DDE paperwork but I haven't purchased it yet.

Yes, you can use DDE for anything not covered by the DDP, you will get the discount but they will automatically add 18% tip to your DDE bill..

You will get two separate bills, one for the DDP and one for any off-plan items you order. DDE can be applied to your off-plan bill at a participating restaurant.

Wow..that's good to know. I think most people would be leaving the 18% anyway...probably more like 20% for good service, so getting a discount on the items not included in the plan is great, considering appeitizers and alcohol aren't included. Good to know! Thanks.
