DDP Using Giftcard to Pay

Based on search looks like in the Before Times(tm) you could pay for the DDP via Disney gift cards. The online option only has credit card. I chatted with MS and the rep said that calling in to pay with a gift card is no longer an option that she saw.

Just wanting to verify if anyone has tried to pay for the DDP recently with a gift card and it worked when you called in to do so?

I would be surprised if you couldn't add the DDP using a gift card, but maybe its a new era of using gift cards going forward.

You can pay with gift cards when calling. Not online though.

You got a bad agent. Call back and talk to someone else. But save your GC in case you have to cancel, as your payment will be refunded to that gift card.
