We just got back from 7 days of the dining plan. It was wonderful!!! So nice to just go sit down and get up to leave without worrying how much you are spending.
O.K. I will admit it. I didn't believe any of you when you said it was so much food that you won't need your snack credits. I love eating Mickey ice cream bars there and thought I would go through the snack credits like water. You all were right!! We used most of our snack credits on water (it was so hot!). Then we ended up trying to use the rest up on the last day. DD fed the ducks with our last snack credit. LOL!
We didn't save a ton. I think we saved just over $200 compared to paying out of pocket. However, we had 6 character meals, and those usually end up being cheaper than the menu sit downs. But just being able to show up and eat and leave, I can't tell you how stress free and enjoyable that was for us!
We will definitely use the DDP again. I think we will always use it as long as it's offered. IT was wonderful!
A tip- Some CS places would stamp our receipt so that we could come back later for our desert. That was really nice because the meal filled us. It was nice to spread it out.
