We're heading to WDW next week and it will be our first visit to the Food & Wine Festival. I know that DDP snack credits are accepted for most of the food items at the booths, but I noticed that many booths have items that are more than $4. Are those items considered snacks as well, or will we need to pay for those items OOP?

Thanks!

Last week, my dh didn't have any trouble getting the lobster rolls (sticker price ~$6.50) with snack credits, so I don't think it will be a problem for you. Enjoy!

(ah, the variances in the CMs.....)

The general rule seems to be $4 or under, pretty much no problem.
I heard that those that you could use snack credits on were clearly marked.
BUT we also know that things can vary somewhat depending on the CM!!!

Hope we get so lucky!!!! (10 days to go...;.;:cool1: )

I have heard several people (and not just on the boards) say that they were able to use a snack credit to get a lobster roll, which at nearly $7 is by far the most expensive food booth item. My guess, from this information, is that the snack credit is good for any food item at any booth.

But of course Disney changes its mind on a regular basis.

We were there last week (Sept 29th-Oct 7th) and spent three days eating lunch around the world showcase at the Food & Wine booths. The only thing we couldn't use the snack credits on was alcohol. What we did was pay for anything less than $3.50-$3.75 and used snack credits for the more expensive items. At several booths we ordered several things and never found anything we couldn't use a credit on.
