I'm on the DDP for the first time on my upcoming trip. My sister is joining me 1/2 way through my trip and will not be on the dining plan. Here's my TS DDP questions:

1. If we go to a TS restaurant, can I put both our 1 TS credit meals on my DDP?

2. If I want to use 1 TS credit and she wants to pay OOP, how do we do that?

3. If we go to a CS place, can I order & use 2 CS credits at the same time?

The credits are all together and not broken by 1 per day, correct?

Thanks again for all your help!

Although I've never used the DDP, here are my thoughts on your questions:

1. If we go to a TS restaurant, can I put both our 1 TS credit meals on my DDP? What do you mean by "can I put both our 1TS credit meals on my DDP?". Sorry, I don't understand.

2. If I want to use 1 TS credit and she wants to pay OOP, how do we do that? Two separate bills would work for this.

3. If we go to a CS place, can I order & use 2 CS credits at the same time? I don't see why not.

The credits are all together and not broken by 1 per day, correct? Correct

Regarding #1: The Dining Plan brochure indicates that the plan is non-transferable. If you have any further questions about that, you'll have to ask Disney Dining directly, since forum rules prohibit discussion of that beyond restating what the rules are.

Regarding #2: This is perfectly fine. Just tell the server that you'll need separate checks when the server takes your order.

Regarding #3: See #1! :)

Have a great time!

What I'm asking is if I can order & pay for both meals using my credits on the DDP.

Its what Bicker posted.

Last year when the ddp first was unveiled, people did post they were able to use the plan as you are wanting too... and then some disney books and websites talked about since credits are on you resort key, and not distinguished you could use them like you are questioning, which led to some abuses... in response people are reporting that the resort keys now indicate whether you have 1 adult / 1 child or maybe 2 adults 1 child so when you go to "pay" for your meal with your resort key/ddp the servers may see your card says one adult, and you have 2 adults for this ts meal... which it just may depend on the restaurant, the server, or the number of ts credits you have... (at least that's my best recollection of what has been posted concerning this issue)

best to ask the server up front, and be prepared to do as you ask in question 2.

I'm sorry, but there's really nothing more we're allowed to say about this issue. Please direct further questions about this to Disney Dining directly, in accordance with forum rules.
