I thought I read that children can order off adult menu and vice versa now, is that true?

I'm not sure about adults ordering from the kid menu, but I know the kids can't order from the adult menu (for the dining entitlements).

That said, I've ordered what my teenage son wanted off the adult menu and had his kids meal on several occasions.

If you are on the DxDDP credits are not separated. There are some restaurants that if asked, will allow kids to order a meal from the adult menu. There are some that will not. If you are on the DDP, kids must order from the children's menu. Even on the DxDDP, the plan states children must order from the kids menu, but some restaurants are flexible, and it is always left to the restaurant to decide.

On DDP, children must use the children's menu at Table Service restaurants.

QS credits and snacks don't differentiate.

Not sure about adults for kids . But this Jan my two children could order off of the adult menu and get the bigger portions

1) Why would WDW allow you to pay the cheaper kid's price and feed them adult portions?
2) This sounds like trying to skirt the rules of the program.
3) If paying OOP, anyone can order of any menu, so maybe this is your best option.

This! I think you are confusing quick service credits and table service credits. For quick service a child can order whatever meal they want. For table service they must order from the children's menu.

Credits are not separated for QS and for the Deluxe plan. TS credits are separated on the regular plan. Children under 10 on the regular plan must order from the children's menu at TS.

As for using QS or deluxe credits to order adult meals for children, some restaurants may allow it and some don't. It is for sure that the DDP brochures still say "children under 10 must order from the children's menu." It is likely you would not be stopped from ordering from either menu at counter service. At table service, on the deluxe plan, you might have success and you might not.
