DDP questions...

Hi everyone. I have been looking into the DDP for a 2010 visit to WDW. Hopefully when we go the free dining will be around. My question is- if the free dining is offered then, how much would an upgrade to deluxe cost and would it be worth it? So far there would me, dh and dd (3 1/2 at time of travel), possibly my son(will be 18). Thanks

The upgrade would be $32 per person per day and $10 a day for the child. I don't know if you can upgrade free dining? but that would be the price this year. I'm sure by 2010 it will be a little more. I've never used the deluxe plan so I couldn't tell you anything about it's value but I would think if you can pull it off it would be worth it.

No way of knowing if Free dining would be offered for 2009,let alone 2010.

This year you can upgrade from basic dining to deluxe dining at the prices the previous poster listed. Not sure how much the upgrades will be (if they will be available) for 2010.

For us the basic dining plan at times is still too much food. We either bring some breakfast food for the room, or use a couple of snack credits for breakfast, we use our counter service meal for lunch, and table service for dinner.

In order for us to justify the extra $ being spent for upgrading we would have to either do a couple of signature restaurants or one more table service meal a day. (which for us is too much adrs to plan and too much food)
