We are looking at a family vacation June 2007, my sister in law will be coming down for 4 days my family will there for 7 days. We do the DDP, it is my understanding that everyone in the "house" must be on the dining plan? Would the in-laws have to pay for the 7 days or just the time they were at the resort (4 days not 7).

Once again THANKS :thumbsup2

The plan is not structured for split-stays or (as is your case) partial split-stays. You could try to do a traditional split-stay, but you'll still end up paying for more dining plan than if you just had a set number of people in your party for the entire trip.

If your SIL's family stays in their own room, they could opt for or against the Dining Plan no matter what your family decides to do.

If your SIL's family stays in your room with your family, to get the DP, everyone would have to pay for it for the entire length of the reservation.

Best wishes -

The rules and DVC say for 7 days even if they stay less.

It's all or none on the same booking.
