DDP question when someone arrives later...

Was tossing around a trip down to WDW for Free Dining and had a quick question. If I went down with my kids a few days before my DH, how would that work with Free Dining? Would only my kids and I get free dining, or could I add my DH later, or just pay for him (well, not really, since it's free) from when we arrive and just start using his credits when he gets there? Anybody have any experience with this?

Just add your husband to the reservation as normal. You'll receive the proper number of credits for the whole party for the entire stay at check-in, so you could use some of his credits before he gets there (for an extra meal or a 2 credit meal, for example).

If the tickets will be squirrelly, just get 1-day MYW tickets and upgrade them individually.
