DDP Question - how many days?

I have a question about the Dining Plan. Is there a certain amount of days you have to buy on the plan? If you are actually only going to be in the park for 5 days can you only buy 3 days worth of the meal plan?

Some people in my party are concerned with having credits leftover (in case we decide to eat in the room or something) so they thought it might be a good idea to buy less days.

The Dining Plan is based on the number of nights you stay at a resort. So if you are staying for 5 nights, you will have 5 TS, 5 CS and 5 SC per person in your room. You cannot buy just 3 days worth dining if you are staying for 5 nights.

Wait, maybe you can. How about doing 2 separate reservations. The first one with Dining the 2nd without? I don't know if anyone out there has tried this?

Armandocme, that is one way around it, Since we are planning on splitting our stay we have to elect the didning plan both times.
