DDP Question for Split DVC Reservation

I am a DVC member and originally booked December 7-15 at my 11 month wondow and decided to add on the night of the Dec 6th a couple of weeks later. There was no availability for the 6th so I was waitlisted but my waitlist came throught a couple of weeks later. So I now have two linked reservations one for the 6th - 7th and the other for the 7th - 15th. Can I purchase the DDP for just the 7th -15th or would I need to also purchase it for the night of the 6th since they are linked. Just wondering.

My understanding is that if the reservations are linked through MS, you have to purchase the dining plan for the entire stay. If, however, you have reservations at two different resorts, you have the option to purchase the DP for your stay at either or both resorts.

Thanks. My reservations are both at the WLV so I am not switching. Guess I'll book the DDP for my entire stay.
