If you plan on using the extras - park tours, Cirque, recreation - then the package will work out great. We have Premium several times (trying out Platinum in Oct). Our last trip we averaged one "extra" per day which basically covered the cost of one person's package for the day ($150), the rest was made up for in food since we can easily spend $150 in 3 TS meals. Its nice to not worry about how many credits a meal costs (all meals are 1 credit) or whether we can just stay in for room service. If my DH wants to go parasailing and take out jet skis all afternoon he can. Yes, this stuff can take up some park time, but we like a more relaxed vacation but still get to ride whatever we want. We like to escape from the parks in the afternoon and come back to swim, rent boats, jet ski, etc before dinner and hitting the parks in the evening. We haven't used the plan in the winter since we would only use it for food and a tour or two - I'm just not up for watersports in Feb, even in Florida. Without the plan in the warmer months we likely wouldn't parasail more than once and only rent jet skis once or twice. I don't find the package to be a great money saver over what we would normally spend out of pocket - but its a great deal on the activities incldued (very easy to "spend" more than you paid). However when the price difference is only a couple hundred dollars (not that much in the grand scheme of our vacation) we have always opted for the plan and use the recreation to our heart's content. I know a lot of people take an "off" day to do waterparks or rest - well we take that day and spend it playing on the lake - something I think we would be less inclined to do if it wasn't paid in advance.
