DDP part or all of trip?

We have booked 2 nights at the Contemporary and 5 nights at the Beach Club Villas. We are definately going to get the DDP for the BCV part of our stay. However, right now we only have a room-only booked at the CR. If we want to add dining for the first 2 nights, we would have to switch to a package to do this.

This also means we would not be able to buy discounted tickets elsewhere and the cancellation policy would be more strict and the final payment would be due at 45 days, instead of at check-in. So what should we do?

1. Stay with room only at CR and just have the dining plan at BCV, Buy tickets cheaper online

2. Switch to a package at the CR so we can have the dining plan the whole time (and therefore getting tickets through Disney)

I would consider ...is it worth the money you would spend to add the DDP then what you would of saved to buy tickets cheaper and so forth.
