Am I correct in understanding that you cannot have the dining plan without buying at least a one day basic park ticket?

Do you have to buy a one day basic park ticket for each person in your party or just for one person in the party?

If you want to get a package (room, tickets & DDP) with a discount code, can you do that while just buying a one day basic ticket or do you have to buy a ticket for each day of your stay?

Thanks!

From the Dining Plan FAQ:
Is there an admission purchase requirement?
With the exception of guests staying at DVC resorts on DVC points, you must at least purchase a basic one day admission ticket, but you do not have to purchase a ticket that matches the number of nights you are staying.
Every member of of your party must have the same admission purchase; there is no requirement for the number of days of admission to match the duration of your visit.

Thanks. I'm all set...did the math and realized that it's not cost effective for us to add the dining plan, even with a one day basic no park hopping ticket since we still have tickets left over from '05.
