DDP paid and last minute cancellation ?

We are scheduled to leave next Saturday for a trip. We are bringing along 4 additional extended family members. With all this flu news going around I'm obviously nervous about it impacting our trip. Our Use Year ends Feb 1, so I know that points going into holding are useless to me. I've told everyone that the trip will go on for anyone who can make it, even if we can't. No rescheduling because we won't have any points to do so with.

My question is about the dining plan. If I call and add that to the reservation and pay for it and then not everyone makes the trip, can I get a full or partial refund of any sort? I'd like to get this done and do online checkin just to get things off my to do list, but perhaps I should wait to the last minute to reduce the risk of money going down the drain?
 
In dec of 2011 we had a weekend trip plan and my MIL came down with a nasty flu. We had already paid for the deluxe dining plan. We called MS and they refunded the entire cost of her meal plan. I was surprised , but if I remember correctly it was just a quick phone call & not a big deal to MS. Good luck & hope everyone stays healthy!
