DDP on the day we check out

When you get the DDP I know it is for each night of your stay. We will have one extra TS meal due to an OOP for T-Rex cafe and I was wondering if I could use it to get breakfast at Boma on the morning we check out or will all the credits be gone? When do they expire?

They expire at midnight on the day you check out so you can use the leftover credits any time during your departure day. Enjoy your breakfast

We always do Boma on check out day. Its great way to end the trip. We always look around and a few time they have been feeding the birds. Then we head for DTD and spend the rest of our snack credits at goofy candy shop.
and will pick up stocking stuffer stuff . We will have one more credit and plan to use it for Earl of Sandwich and put it in the cooler for the trip home.

Just a warning however, even though the credits don't expire until midnight of the day you check out we have had problems in the past with the credits not appearing available on our card after check out.

Fortunately we had an experienced server who had seen this before so she knew to ask us if we had check out that morning. The restaurant (Kona) took great care of us and got the credits re-stated onto our card but it did take about 15 minutes for them to get it cleared up. Fortunately we were dining at a very slow time so the waitress and the manager had time to deal with it.

When were you there? I was just wondering whether your report (and many others relating a similar experience) was related to the system upgrade at the resorts a few months ago. I haven't noticed any discussion on it recently so I am hoping that it is safe to assume that the teething problems have now been resolved.
