DDP on a split stay?

We're doing a split stay with first 2 nights at the Poly (renting DVC points) followed by 7 nights at WL. If we get DDP for both, do I need to use up the Poly credits in those first 3 days or will they carry over/combine with the WL credits?

The Poly credits will expire on midnight of the day you check-out/check-in. You'll have to use all of those credits before the WL credits will become available.

Just to be clear, dining credits are per night, not per day.
